Happy Valentine's Day from First Team!
Those in love embrace it. Those that are single avoid it. Flower companies and romantic comedies thrive from it! Valentines day brings with it so many expectations for loved ones to go the extra mile to make this day even more special. As we quickly approach the "big day" many of you are still without ideas for plans, but that's okay. We have a list of a few of our favorite ways for you celebrate with your loved one.
THE TRADITIONAL: Nice romantic dinner either at home or at a restaurant. Make sure you make a reservation early! For the movie, you're in luck as there are plenty of new releases geared just for this romantic day. Share a small popcorn and drink and leave room for dessert! Ice cream, ice cream, ice cream! We really can't say it enough; chocolate ice cream melts in your mouth and really is a fun and enjoyable treat to share together. Visit your local ice cream shop or rush home and pop open a pint on the couch.
THE SPONTANEOUS: Everyone loves a great surprise, and what better way to shock for an awwww, than to check her in to a nice hotel for a day of fine dining with a little pampering at the spa. Make sure you have a room all set up with champagne and flowers as this goes a long way to making it even more special for your special someone.
THE PROPOSAL: Planning to make this day even more special, go ahead and propose. Sure people say that's tacky and so overdone, but if that were the case then why does it continue to be so popular. The key to pulling this off is to make sure it happens during the day, when she's least expecting it. Set up a picnic during lunch, or take her on a beautiful scenic drive. With any luck, her boss will give you two the rest of the day off to celebrate.
THE GIFT: If you can't cook, you're are already married, or your car can't make it to the movie theater, First Team Auto Mall has the perfect gift for you and your loved one! Shop online 24/7 for amazing deals on the gift that will have your hearts racing!
Whatever it is you do decide to do, as long as it's thoughtful you'll have a great time. From all of us at First Team Auto Mall, we wish you a happy Valentines Day.

Delicious Dessert for your Sweetheart Subtly Spicy Chili-Chocolate Brownies
6 servings Prep: 30 mins Cook: 25 mins
Ingredients 8 ounces good-quality bittersweet chocolate, broken into pieces 1 stick (4 ounces) unsalted butter, cut into pieces, plus extra for greasing the pan 1 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 4 large eggs 1 pint vanilla ice cream 1 bar good-quality bittersweet chocolate, shaved into curls with a vegetable peeler
Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees . Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking pan. 2. Place the chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring until smooth, about 5 minutes. Remove the chocolate from the heat and whisk in both sugars until smooth. 3. In a resealable plastic bag, combine the flour, cocoa powder, chili powder, baking powder and salt and shake together to mix. Whisk the eggs, 1 at a time, into the barely warm chocolate mixture. Add the flour mixture and stir until smooth. Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pan and bake until set, about 25 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes, then cut the brownies into desired shapes with a cookie cutter or knife. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream and the chocolate curls.
